Joseph P. Trabucco is a founding member of Trabucco & Menard, PLLC. Mr. Trabucco represents various construction equipment and machinery manufacturers on a national basis. In January 2004, Mr. Trabucco was named by JLG Industries, Inc., as National Trial Counsel. He is one of six attorneys in the United States who holds this position. JLG Industries, Inc. is the world’s largest manufacturer of self-propelled mobile aerial work platforms. In his capacity as National Trial Counsel, Mr. Trabucco has principal involvement in not only the direct handling and trial of cases involving JLG’s products, which include the JLG, Gradall, Sky Trak, Lull, Caterpillar and Triple L product lines, but he also coordinates the defense of litigation involving JLG throughout the country.
In addition to his work with JLG Industries, Mr. Trabucco is privileged to represent Oshkosh Corporation. Oshkosh is a world leader in the manufacture of specialty trucks, truck bodies, and access equipment for use in concrete placement, construction, fire and emergency, refuse hauling, and military applications. Mr. Trabucco’ s representation of Oshkosh includes the defense of the company in federal and state court matters involving several of Oshkosh’s product lines.
Mr. Trabucco also represents the interests of the The Manitowoc Company, Inc. in a variety of litigation matters. The Manitowoc Company, which owns both Grove U.S., LLC, and National Crane Corporation, is a world leader in the manufacturer of mobile hydraulic cranes. In his representative capacity, Mr. Trabucco has either directly handled or has coordinated cases involving Grove and National Crane in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Ohio, Florida, Delaware, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Michigan, Wyoming, California, and Missouri.
Mr. Trabucco’s expertise in the aerial lift, crane, telescopic material handler, heavy construction equipment, and construction industry has enabled him to effectively prepare for and try cases in different state and federal jurisdictions, as well as assist in the retention and development of a national network of technical experts. These experts, particularly in matters that involve recurring litigation, are vital to the coordination and defense of cases that are of keen interest to ATLA and other information exchange networks. Mr. Trabucco also lectures and provides consultation to companies in private industry and to the public sector, as well as to industry organizations, on legal and technical issues involving the design, manufacture, and use of products.
Mr. Trabucco represents Tyco International, and its affiliated companies including SimplexGrinnell, LP, Ansul, Inc., and Anvil International, LP, in various products and general liability cases in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Trabucco also represents Terex Corporation in litigation involving cranes and material handling equipment. He has also recently been retained as an outside counsel by Bil-Jax, Inc., an industry leader in the manufacture and supply of scaffolding and scaffolding systems. Mr. Trabucco’s twenty- five year career in handling cases involving construction and construction related litigation has enabled him to provide immediate effective representation to Safway in several cases in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Trabucco also enjoys a relationship with Bryn Mawr College where he has represented Bryn Mawr in cases that have been directly assigned as well as directed to him through United Educators.
Mr. Trabucco is admitted to practice the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New York, and their associated federal courts. Mr. Trabucco is presently admitted Pro Hac Vice in multiple jurisdictions for cases that involved the above-listed clients. He is also a member of the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Trabucco is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and New York Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Research Institute.

Stephen D. Menard is a founding partner of Trabucco & Menard, PLLC. Mr. Menard is a 1988 graduate of the Boston College Law School. He obtained his undergraduate degree with honors from Clark University in 1985, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Menard joined a defense litigation firm in Boston, Massachusetts, where he spent 6 years conducting all phases of jury and bench trials involving insured and self-insured clients. In 1994, he was recruited to join a distinguished Philadelphia defense litigation firm, where he continued his litigation experience with an emphasis on products liability, medical malpractice, and personal injury defense. He represents various construction equipment and machinery manufacturers, and construction related businesses, in catastrophic injury cases.
Mr. Menard represents construction equipment manufacturers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Massachusetts, including JLG Industries, Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of self-propelled aerial work platforms, whose product lines include JLG, Gradall, Sky Trak, Lull, Caterpillar and Triple L.
